What are some good ways to relieve stress that often arises when women try to do too much?
Eat Right. This is so important. You need your energy if you are “doing too much.” Ok -even I don’t have the time to eat right sometimes, but I always take my vitamins. So find yourself a good antioxidant multi-vitamin and take it every day. Drink lots of water. You have heard this over and over – 8 glasses a day. I probably drink 10 glasses a day. Yes you will have to go to the bathroom all the time – but it is well worth it. You need to stay hydrated to have energy and to flush out all those antioxidants caused by stress. Breath. How often when you are stressed do you actually hold your breath? This is the worst thing you can do. Take a deeeeep breath and let it out. All of a sudden things seem better. My husband is always making fun of me when I let out these huge sighs. I don’t even notice I am doing it half of the time. It is a natural mechanism for me now so that when I am stressed, I sigh deeply. Stretch. Most people carry their stress in the neck and back which can really make
