What are some good ways to break in my new glove?
• If it is a right-throw glove put your right hand on the thumb and your left hand on the pinky (for a left throw glove this is the opposite). Face the glove away from you and put the back of the glove in your sternum. Move the thumb and pinky up and down with your hands. • Continue to slam your fist or a ball into the palm or pocket and prod and press on the leather. • Be aware that putting glove treatments, softeners, and other lubricants can make your glove break in quicker but can also make your glove much heavier!
