What are some good useful fun hobbies?
I have lots of hobbies, but the most fun, useful and rewarding one I started about 2 years ago. I refurbish older vintage all metal sewing machines. I get some for free and some I buy – paying as little as $1. You would be amazed at the number of machines out there being thrown away and yet there are lots of people who do sew who cannot afford to buy a machine or don’t know how to fix one. I give many of the machines I’ve fixed away to those who cannot afford one, some I keep and a few I resell. The money I make often goes into more machines or parts. If you are interested in mechanical things and have the aptitude for taking things apart and putting them back together it can be a fun and relaxing hobby that’s also rewarding and useful. The only thing I should warn you about is it can be very addicting. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t end up owning a lot of sewing machines. But you can learn a lot about how things work in the process and if you sew, it can also give you the opportunity
