What are some good training tips for sprinters running the 100 or 200m?
100 = drive full out with the arms. The faster your arms go, the faster your legs will go. With each stride, your leg should come out in front of you sort of at a 90 degree angle…i know this may sound weird but it makes sense lol. watch some vids on youtube. 200 = go full out on the bend – dont go like 70% on it and try save your energy for the final 100 it just makes it harder for you. Once you’ve finished the first 100 your gonna get tired but keep on going and focus on crossing that finish line first. You should make sure you always keep your focus on all sprints, obviously don’t be looking around to see whose behind you as this will only slow you down. Keep your breath smooth and steady aswell. Dont be puffing in and out to fast lol.
