What are some good stories on teamwork?
Cargo by Theodore Sturgeon The gist of it is a space shuttle containing a teacher and a class of problem children crashes on a hostile planet. The teacher is mortally wounded but before she dies she tells the children there is a crate on the shuttle that contains something very valuable they can sell if they make it to town. It’s a large heavy crate so they wind up working together to get it to town. Most of them manage to survive a lot of bad things through teamwork and when they finally get to town they find the crate is worthless – she just told them it was worth something because it would keep them together and they would have a better chance of surviving that way.
