What are some good Spanish or Latin American childrens stories/books for toddlers?
I asked her if she could think of any famous Spanish children’s stories and she couldn’t come up with any. Of course, that was a long time ago… I’m a little surprised, but she couldn’t think of any that weren’t translated from somewhere else, like Hans Christian Anderson stories. The only ones I remember her reading us were things like Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. I know we had some Disney books in Spanish, but they were things like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, etc. In other words, not of Latin origin. Hmm… Anyway, good for you for teaching your kids both Spanish and English. You’re really going to help them in the long run. Here are some suggestions that I found that should be helpful.
