Hey, You should check out: The Format (she doesn’t get it) Augustana (Boston) The Shins (new slang and kissing the lipless) All American Rejects (dirty little secret and move along) Phoenix (Love for granted) Death Cab for Cutie (I will follow you into the dark) Areosmith (Don’t Wanna Miss a thing) Bright Eyes (Lua and First Day of My Life) My Morning Jacket (I’m Amazed) Lifehouse (Hanging by a moment) Youth Group (forever young) But Classic artists like Elvis Costello, The Grateful Dead and Van Morrison are great too. A really great new female artist is Laura Merling. Shes a bit different to Secondhand Serenade but her songs are fantastic (check out Heartbreaker’s Handbook and New Romantic). And of course Imogen Heap (Hide and Seek).
