What are some good SCARY Halloween yard decoration ideas?
The scariest houses to me as a child were the ones that played creepy music from a speaker in a window and where it was dark, except for the porch light. The best scare ever was this one place that had a prominently displayed “scarecrow” which was basically hay in people clothes with a hat and gloves. The prominently displayed “scarecrow” kept your attention as you were afraid it was going to move. In a not so prominent spot, someone else jumped out to scare us poor kids. The person jumping out could be in black if it’s dark enough outside, to hide themselves a bit, or they could be made to look like the “scarecrow”, but be in a place that isn’t real close as the kids walk up. After the kids pass them, they sneak up behind the kids and go “boo”. Totally scary for the kids and hilarious for the jokester.
