What are some good pre-med colleges that offer good merit scholarhips as well?
Duke gives very little in the way of merit scholarships, Rice is a pretty good bargain to begin with and offers good merit money as well. You can fulfill premed requirements anywhere and still get into very good med schools;don’t exclude state schools in your search. UNC is often a tougher admit than most privates including many Ivies for an OOS student but has very good merit money available. The University of South Carolina is an up and comer and has incredible merit monies available for top students that includes generous scholarships AND in-state tuition remission which makes the cost of attendance very very low. Again, don’t limit your search to private schools.
