What are some good places that stamp metal into a form?
Any large sheet metal shop can do this. Setup charges shouldn’t cost more than $250,000 or so. THINK ABOUT IT! You don’t just take a piece of steel and stamp out a bumber. First a mold has to be made. Then a negative of the mold. Then solid steel stamping forms. Then a stamping machine has to be modified for that shape. Which means that it is either dedicated forever to that form, or each and every time it is used it must once again be setup for that specific job. And then there’s the trimming, sanding, and finishing process (priming, painting, etc.) bottom line is… IT AIN’T CHEAP!!!
