For great tent camping in NY, head to the Catskills! There are tons of campsites, hiking trails and caverns to explore. Right now, the leaves are changing and the colorful fall foliage it’s absolutely gorgeous. The Catskill Mountains are only a few hours away from NYC but it’s a completely different world. The beautiful scenery, serenity and plentiful wildlife will leave you refreshed while the miles of trails, caverns and caves will appeal to your adventurous side.
