What are some good paying jobs for high school students?
Lifeguard! My boyfriend became a lifeguard when he was 16 and did it for 4 years. He made $10 by just sitting on his butt, watching people and occasionally yelling at them. It’s an awesome job and most lifeguards get more than $9 an hour, which is pretty good considering that most high school students only make minimum wage or a little higher. You’ll have to take a lifeguard test and CPR training. If you’re athletic and know how to swim you should be okay. Basically you have to be able to swim a certain number of laps, be able to pull someone out of the water, etc. etc. And the CPR training is super easy. You should definitely consider it. You make money by basically doing nothing!!!
