What are some good nature parks in the los angeles area?
Griffith Park is a huge park within the city of Los Angeles. A little farther afield you can find Will Rogers State Park in Pacific Palisades (far west LA) and farther west still Malibu Creek State Park and others in the Santa Monica Mountains. To the east is the Angeles National Forest with vast mountain areas for hiking and scenic views. All of these places are within an hour’s drive of LA proper.
