What are some good meditation tapes for beginners?
If you’re anything like me and can’t stop your mind for even three seconds, you may want to start with a very simple form of meditation that requires no tools. Find a quiet place to sit, sit in a position that’s comfortable to you and simply close your eyes. It helps if there’s light in the room because the point of this exercise is to simply concentrate whatever images or shadows your closed eyes pick up. The idea is that you give your mind a rest by occupying it with basic visual stimulation. Hope tht helps; it works for me. Good luck with whatever method you find.
