What are some good ideas for a 1 year olds birthday party?
A clown is good. As for party planning, make a theme of what your son likes at this age. Elmo, Barney, whatever it is and go with that theme for the party. Food, it depends on the age. Finger foods, or depending on the weather where you are, you can grill out hot dogs, hamburgers, that sort of thing. Games~ hide and seek with an adult of course, set up with little baskets and have the kids stand in line and throw a little plastic ball into each basket. The one who wins, give them a little prize from a dollar store. Toy being appropriate for the age. Something unisex too.
