What are some good foods for bodybuilding?
The rule of thumb is one gram of protein per pound of body mass TO MAINTAIN. To gain, you gotta go over that. The more you do, the easier it will be to gain. However, you need to ease into those higher protein levels, and maybe take some digestive enzymes to help you get the full benefit of that higher protein intake without losing it, and without putting stress on your system. I would suggest Aminogen, I love that enzyme for high protein shakes. And drink lots of water, always. And yes, weight lifting/body building diets are expensive. But so too are flat screen t.v.s, cars, hot women, travel, and most anything else we guys pursue in life. If you want it, do it. Make it happen. As for the diet, it already sounds like you hit the usual staples. I would also recommend broccoli, which has some good plant protein, lean red meat (if you are type O blood, you don’t have to worry too much about saturated fats, or other animal fats, as your body will be better able to handle and digest them),
