Wash your face and make sure to remove all eye-makeup without leaving a single trace. You should do this at night with a moisturizing eye-makeup remover so your eyelashes get some papering as well during your snoozing hours. Vaseline works very well for this and is extremeley cheap. Collect your eye makeup items: Volumizing mascara (in dark black Maybelline volumzing mascara is great!), a well-sharpened eyeliner in dark black, and if you have brown eyes or a boring eye-color get a pale green, violet or blue eyeshadow. Invest in good quality shadows and a creamy eyeliner that will go on smoothly. Shiseido, Chanel and even Maybelline have great tools! Also, get some individual, fake eyelashes if you have short ones.
