What are some good Broadway songs for an alto singer?
The one that comes to mind immediately is “Tell Me on a Sunday” from the musical “Song and Dance” is particularly nice. The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Don Black. However, you may want to find a compilation book and CD that has transposed many popular broadway songs into your range. If you do not like that idea, there are comp. books that are geared toward your range by selecting songs that were originally performed by an alto.
