I don’t know if there are any books on the emo subculture because is quite new compared to other subcultures (for example, Goth goes back around 20 years or so, and punk longer) so alternatively you might want to join up at an emo forum so that you can learn about the people, literature and poetry, music, mindset etc, and you can of course ask questions. Try www.emowire.com Lol, I’m not a full-on emo, but aspects of me are both Emo and Gothic.. and random ;p That’s why I know about the site. Yea, I really hate it when people judge emo’s and label them as suicidal and purposely depressed..
