What are some fun indoor/outdoor summer activities for toddlers?
Outdoor: -Paddling Pool -Planting things -Bag of soil/grow back and tools to pretend to be farmers-fun to dig in too! -Go to local parks and woods and collect things they find-then when you get home you can stick them on card to make pictures, book marks etc -Stay and Play/Toddler Groups http://www.childcarelink.gov.uk/index.as… -Go to Zoo-take camera nad boys can maek their own photo book of the day. Indoor -Learn to MAKE playdough-you can find recipe online ands its really easy and fun! -Paper mache-lots of messy fun:) -Role Play: Have box of dressing up clothes and bits and bobs like scarfs, hats, bags etc that they can just mess about with to make into their own games. -Invite friends over. -buy some cheap craft books from discount shops-often have lots of ideas you can adapt for younger ages. -Print off colouring pages from sites on line-look on underfives.com for other ideas.
