Assuming you mean a MMO, by sim games, you can try looking at games such as Maple Story, Second Life, Rappelz, FlyFF, and a host of other games. Puzzle Pirates, Gaia Online, and Neopets are also popular games. Pirates of the Carribean online is probably not the best game to start out with, as it is generally considered to be a cheaper spin off game. Of course, this is just an opinion, and you may end up liking it, however, the games I listed above are all considered high quality.
