What are some Fiber rich foods?
All fruits and vegetables are high in fiber. If you leave the skin of your fruits and veggies, it increases the fiber content. Some fruits are higher in fiber than others…some really good ones are berries (of all kinds), dried fruits like prunes, figs and raisins. Leave the skin on your apples, pears, potatoes, cucumbers, etc. Whole graisn like oatmeal, quinoa, brown rice, barley, and bran. Try FiberOne cereals. The original bran buds are the best. Also try different beans. They are not only high in fiber, but protein as well. If you’re on a high fiber diet, make sure to drink plenty of water, or he could become very bloated and constipated.
