I don’t believe there are any advantages except you picking what your child is being taught, who even knows if that is an advantage. I personally think school and everything it is about is important to a child. I loved school and would have hated my parents if the pulled me out to home school me.

There are pretty much no disadvantages except that it is hard work, and kids sometimes can’t do things that all their friends are doing because they don’t belong to the same school or their friends are busy. And, sometimes other kids think homeschooled kids are freaks. Advantages are numerous….. you can spend more time with your child and you will most likely get close to your kid. Your did can go to the bathroom, get a drink, get a snack, get up when they want, and wear what they want. These are all things you can’t to in Public school. Kids don’t have to deal with the drama and teachers at Public school. If anyone lives in Pennsylvania, a great homeschooling program is www.pacyber.org.
