What are some factors that may affect the presentation of a ThinPrep Pap Test slide?
For all pap tests, the use of interfering substances (i.e. lubricants) should be minimized prior to specimen collection. Improper collection techniques, including use of the wrong collection devices, can also adversely affect slide presentation.
