What are some examples of types of activities that could be supported by a Research Strategic Planning Grant?
Examples include (but are not limited to): 1) travel and honoraria for outside scientists to come to UNL to give a seminar, meet with team members, and provide specific recommendations to enhance the current research program at UNL; 2) travel and honoraria for several scientists from outside UNL to serve as a mini-review team for a specific research program at UNL, including preparation of a report describing opportunities and recommendations to enhance competitiveness of the research program; or 3) development of an inter-disciplinary seminar series or strategic research planning meetings between UNL and other University of Nebraska campuses or private industries.
