They have a lot of martial arts, or they use a katana sword and they are used as in battle. You can see them used in most movies today. As an example, you can see some martial art forms in the movie ‘The Lost Kingdom’ with Jackie Chan and Jet Li (they might not be Japanese, but they use same kind of battle forms in Japan, I believe).
