What are some examples of Machiavellis anti-Church sentiment in the Prince?
I don’t think he said anything ‘anti-church’ in his writings, instead his book was condemned by religious people who found his principle, ‘the ends justify the means’, an immoral one, in that Machiavelli says that ANY means are justifiable, even wicked ones, if the end is the gaining of power for the Prince.
