What are some everyday things that I do in the United States that I won be able to do in China?
While your life in China will have many of the same elements as life in America, some things may take more time than they did before, or you will go about them a different way. For example, mailing a package may be confusing at first; you might have difficulty finding peanut butter or you probably won’t have access to cheese; shopping for vegetables once every few days instead of once a week; or not having access to a clothes dryer. Volunteers learn to adjust to these changes in lifestyle by being creative and by embracing the Chinese lifestyle.
