What are some effective ways to study hard throughout the year, and enjoy?
My school had a study workshop earlier this year. The trick is to get home and make notes on everything you did at school that day. It sound like a lot but when it comes down to it it really isn’t. Then each week do at least one personal bit of work for each subject. For example a practise test off the internet for maths, a short essay on a topic for religion, a timeline poster for history etc. Get creative. Another great Idea that I found usefull while cramming for exams is to teach, if you have no one to teach like I did, use a mirror and teach yourself. Make it interesting and understand everything coming out of your mouth. Use diagrams and write keywords on a white board, iof you don’t have one, like I didn’t, use textas on your mirror – but don’t forget to wipe them off afterwards! Each weekend summarise that weeks notes for each subject, and every months or so summarise them even more to mind maps, charts etc. A good idea to make sure you’re summarising is to fold your A4 paper i
