What are some easy songs to sing and play guitar at the same time?
I think that you should start with songs that have an easy strum pattern, something along the lines of blink-182 or something like that. You want to be able to play the part without having to think too much about it so the easier the song the better. This way you only have to think about keeping your strumming hand in beat and moving your hands to the right chords.
