What are some easy guitar songs to learn for a beginner?
I taught myself how to play by looking on the Internet for music. First find a song you would like to learn how to play and then go to www.ultimate-guitar.com and search for the song. Hopefully you know how to read tab, but if not then try to find a song that will say chords next to it and not tab. Usually the site will show you how to play the chord. If you don’t know how to read tab you wil see 6 lines with numbers on them. The bottom line is the low E string and the top line is the high E string and the other lines correspond to the string. The numbers are the frets that you put your finger on on that particular string. Anyways, just think of songs you really like, that makes it easier to play. If you want to learn chords as well I’ve listed another great site. Just click on the chord you want and it will show you how to play it and you can also hear how it should sound.
