What are some easy but good breakfast cassaroles to make for easter?
You know when you think of breakfast what do you think of eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pot you would maybe green peppers onions cheese, biscuits rolls so take your pick of the list and think what goes together like scramble some eggs and put in bacon hey maybe shredded pot and some cheese on top oh hey we could put some green pepper or onions and cover with cheese you just cant go wrong be creative you could even toss it all together it would be fine step out of your box and surprise yourself .
Okay, this is really easy. It not special for Easter or anything, but it tastes great! Roll out 1 PACKAGE of CRESCENT ROLL DOUGH on the bottom of a lightly greased 9×13″ pan. Brown about a POUND of GROUND SAUSAGE, drain the fat, and pour on the dough in the pan. I can’t remember exactly, but I think you beat about 3 or 4 eggs (it’s okay if it’s not exact) and spread on top of the meat. Sprinkle on 1-2 CUPS of SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE on top. Roll out another PACKAGE of CRESCENT ROLL DOUGH on top and press dough to the edges of pan. Bake at about 375 degrees for probably 12-15 minutes. (Sorry, I don’t have the recipe in front of me. I’ve made this several times never using the recipe). It’s really really good! Good luck!
Easter Breakfast Casserole 1 pound bacon 1/4 cup diced onion 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 8 eggs 2 cups milk 1 (16 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 7×11 inch casserole dish. In a large bowl beat together eggs and milk. Mix in cheese, bacon, onion and green pepper. Stir in the thawed hash browns. Pour mixture into prepared casserole. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Tear up 4 slices of bread and place in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle cooked crumbled bacon or sausage over bread pieces. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the bacon or sausage. Mix eggs, milk and mustard together; pour over casserole. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
