I love monkey bread! It’s our Christmas morning tradition to have monkey bread before we open presents. This is the same recipe we use, it’s a really simple one which the kids enjoy helping out with. 5 pkgs. Pillsbury refrigerator rolls 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cinnamon 1 stick butter 1/2 c. brown sugar Cut each roll in quarters and mix sugar and cinnamon together. Toss cut rolls into sugar and cinnamon mixture. Layer in fully greased bundt pan. Melt butter and add brown sugar. Pour over entire cut and layered pieces. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn over onto dish, and serve warm. (We like to add 1/2 a cup of chopped pecans into the mix, and it’s absolutely divine!) You can find a huge list of additional monkey bread recipes at the link below, cooks.com, but all of them are virtually identical. Monkey bread always has the same basic ingredients. It’s amazing how awesome it is when it’s so simple to make. Sources:
