What are some differences between dolphins and porpoises?

Dolphins are known as “conscious breathers.” In other words, if they should go unconscious (totally asleep) they could die. So they sleep with only one half of their brain asleep at a time, and keep one eye open in case danger approaches. Then they awaken that half of the brain, and the other rested half of the brain sleeps with the other eye open.
