What are some customs practiced within african american groups?
I’m not sure if you’re being specific enough in your question. By the term African American it seems to include all black American groups! but over here in the UK the two main black groups are African and Afro Caribbean and because this generation are the first/second from the original settlers in the 40-60’s the differences in cultures are significant. Thus the practiced cultures are not the same. But that’s the UK. But also to point out, depending on what West Indian island your genitic heritage is there are diferences there also with food and music etc. But as a whole black people come from a religious, moralistic, respectful and educationally steered family orientated foundation, with food, music and hard work playing a big part also. Don’t ask me what’s going on with a lot of todays teenage boys though they are so lost it’s saddening.
