What are some common input and output devices for graphics applications?
How are they used? Students may examine and be aware of a variety of ways that graphics may be used as input to and output from the computer. Some input devices that students may discuss and use include: keyboard, mouse, light pen, digitizer, graphics tablet, joy stick, scanner, video camera, and touch screen. Graphics can be output to screen (Video Display Terminal, VDT) or paper. Output devices discussed may include: printer, plotter, overhead transparency makers, and slide makers.
