A degree in marine biology prepares students for careers in research, policy or the field. Georgia only has two colleges that offer marine biology degrees: Savannah State University in Savannah and the University of Georgia in Athens. Both schools offer graduate programs, but only Savannah State offers an undergraduate degree.
