What are some colleges and universities with fashion programs?
A lot of 2 and 4-year schools offer programs in fashion design and associated industries. Some examples include the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas, the Department of Fashion Design at Woodbury University (Burbank, California), the Human Environment and Design program at Michigan State University, the Fashion Design Program at Brooks College (Long Beach, California), the Textiles and Consumer Sciences program at Florida State University, etc. The list goes on and on. Most high school counselors have access to some great printed and online resources to help you find available programs in a specific subject that interests you. I’m assuming that you’re interested in studying in a particular part of the country, so your advisor can probably offer you the best leads and information with regards to what’s in your area, or, if you’re anxious to leave home – what’s far away (!).
