What are some characteristics of T.S Eliots poems?
When I think of T.S. Eliot, the first thing characteristic that comes to my mind is his heavy use of allusions. He certainly writes for a small group elite academics rather than the common public; his allusions are numerous, wide-ranging, and often times in several different languages. Just looking at the sheer number of footnotes lets the reader see how many different places he draws his ideas from.
