BSC has negotiated a great discount with Dell as part of a collaborative with other state colleges. Students start out with a Bridgewater State College-ready machine (software, hardware and network configurations are preloaded). Bridgewater State College faculty members use the same type of computer and are thus better able to serve students. The Dell notebook package includes Complete Care , an accidental damage program that covers drops, liquid spills, etc. on the unit. In addition, Dell can perform all repairs on-campus, whereas students who purchase from other manufacturers would have to send their notebook out to an authorized center off campus for warranty repairs. Extended Service includes on-site warranty in the event you are off campus as a commuting student or anywhere else in the world in need of warranty service.
