What are some benefits I will be granted as a naturalized citizen?
Naturalized American citizens have many rights, including the right to vote, the right to an attorney and fair trial without fear of deportation, the right to hold public office (excluding that of President or Vice President). A naturalized citizen can also extend U.S. citizenship to their children, obtain visas for immediate family members, and are not restricted on the amount of time spent outside of the United States.
