What are some beautiful broadway songs?
To show off your vocal range, -All I Ask of You from The Phantom of the Opera (female part) -On My Own from Les Miserables (a beautiful song, but often overused in auditions. Still, it never fails.) -As someone else said, Defying Gravity from Wicked -Bohemienne from Notre Dame de Paris (okay, the English translation is awful, so unless you speak French or Italian, you might not want to do this one.) -Green Finch and Linnet Bird from Sweeney Todd -Memory from Cats (Okay, honestly, I strongly dislike Cats. But this is a great audition song.) Glitter and Be Gay…is an extremely difficult song to sing, I’m not going to lie. But if done well, it would be highly worth it.
