What are some anglo saxon customs?

I’m not sure about their customs but I’m somewhat adept in their architecture. Their longhouses were usually gabled and had a large opening in the roof. Directly below the opening was a communal fire, surrounding that were sitting and eating areas. These noble dwellings had a trademark secondary gabled opening similar to churches of the “Gothic Revival”. The walls were also very iconic; with support struts applied at 45 degree angles along the outsides of the structures. The roofs were usually made from bonded thatch or during aftermath of the invasion of England they were made of stray atop loose thatch.
