What are some advantages of Digital Photography,and what are some changes and imapcts it has made?
1 its suddenly SO much affordable (plus) 2 suddenly everyone with a nikon D40 thinks theyre a photographer… 3 darkroom skills, can be easily transferred to the PC and photoshop 4… “proper” photographers with hundreds of thousands of images apply certain flair and creativity… everyone else stands up, put the camera on auto and presses a button… and wonder why the end result, whilst technically perfect gets nothing but derision… and despite the cost, a decent 35mm is still far better than a digital camera… i have a e500 Olympus, and its OK… 30 thousand shots later, the pimary lens is getting slow, and has difficulty focussing in poor light (half a second is too long) hopefully the E450 will perform somewhat better… and at 215 quid (brand new, Ebay) i hope its an improvement… no one prints pics anymore, and sadly your HDTV isnt quite upto the job… i shoot at 3600x2700dpi… a 1080×760 HDTV is just not upto the job… (but they look great on a 50 inch screen nevertheles
