What are some advantages of attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University?
There aren’t any advantages. I know, I went there. Don’t get me wrong, It’s a good school with lots of prestige, but as far as being a pilot is concerned, getting trained and getting a degree there won’t give you any significant competetive advantage over someone who pays less than half as much money to go to a state college or local flight school that offers commrcial pilot training. Fact. And what the other guy says is also right…you won’t be distracted by girls. The female / male ratio is something like 10:1 and your chances of finding a local girl there aren’t great. Expect to go 4 years without having a girlfriend unless you bring one with you. Fact.
