What are some advantages and disadvantages in solar powers?
The sun is always there. I don’t need to dig it out of the ground, refine it or burn it in some way. Panels are cheap. Electricity is very easy to use for a lot of applications. It’s clean. It smells nice. Wind is technically a form of solar power, as are waves. I like waves. At night, the sun is hidden behind the rest of this lump called the earth. The initial outlay is expensive. Energy storage is expensive and complicated. After a while, solar cells degrade in performance, wind turbines rust, and surfers ride the waves. I like waves.
