What are solar farms?
Solar farms can be land with 1 or more acres or large building rooftops. Many solar collection panels are installed to generate electricity for sale to the local utility company for general public use. Typically solar farms utilize open acres; however, it is also possible to create a solar farm on the roof of a large building for use as source of power, to cut down on use of power or to sell. Buildings that are suitable include large office buildings and warehouses. Many solar farms are now being created on old landfill areas as well. A landowner can realize a substantial income on a yearly basis for approximately twenty years with minimal maintenance.
