The purpose of buying these is to ensure that as well as buying the the right to run the current version you will also be entitled to make free upgrades to new versions of the software.This is provided that the new versions are released within the current Select period. It does NOT mean free technical support from Microsoft. Please note that previous ways of getting upgrade rights via Upgrade Advantage and Upgrade Advantage Plus licences are no longer available under the current deal.
