What are social and cultral diversities within our society?
This is kind of a broad question. Our society is diverse based on the following characteristics: *culture *ethnicity *background *race/creed *Religion Each of these categories play into cultural diversities because there are many differences between ethnic groups. Take for example, Native Americans as a population. They raise their children differently than someone who may be Caucasian or African American. Their culture is different. They hold many values dear to them that other groups or races do not. Also there is the topic or religion. That plays a huge role in our society because many have different beliefs about God, or about Buddhism, and even atheism. Basically all of these aspects tie into one another and they make up our society. The core of our society is our different beliefs. Not all have the same values and many cultures do things that may seem taboo to others.
