What are Single, Double, and 3rd/4th/5th rates?
The double rate is the standard per-person price for a cabin occupied by two passengers. The single rate is usually twice the double rate, although some lines will occasionally offer reduced single rates for selected sailings. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th passenger rates apply only to cabins that can accommodate more than two guests, and are usually less expensive than the double rate.
